Designer Services & Collaborations

Our studio provides independent designers, design firms and art consulting companies with the unique opportunity to collaborate with us on a variety of ceramic projects. We have manufactured small runs of ceramic products for designers and collaborated with art consulting companies on larger installations for the hospitality industry. What sets our studio apart from others is our vast knowledge of our materials and experience in a wide variety of techniques and finishes. We are innovative and up to date with the latest ceramic trends.

Provide us with a sample, drawing or rendering with specifications of the item(s) or project proposal and send it to filipa.m.pim@gmail.com. Depending on the complexity of your project, we will provide you with a quote within 24-48 hours of receiving your inquiry. The quote will be broken down into several parts: development, unit cost, and minimum production quantities.

Development includes making original model, all required molds for production and colour samples of our in-house glaze/ finish options. Note, if the project requires glaze development for the desired finish, it will be presented as a separate glaze development quote.

Once the development quote is accepted, payment is required in full for prototyping to begin. This fee is non-refundable. Prototype and in-house colour samples take approximately 2-4 weeks to produce. At that time, you will be provided with a finished prototype, colour samples and a finalized per unit cost (an estimated per unit cost is provided in the development quote).

A production contract will be created upon approval of prototype and unit cost. All production contracts are subject to a $750 minimum opening order. A 50% deposit is required to begin production and the final balance is due prior to shipping or upon pick up/delivery.

Development includes all the research, materials and testing required to produce the prototypes for the project. Once the development quote is approved, payment in full is required to begin the prototyping process. Typically prototyping takes 2-4 weeks to complete.

A project contract will be created upon approval of the prototype and project costs and timeline. All project contracts require a 50% deposit to begin production and the final balance is due prior to shipping or upon pick up/delivery.
